A long dissertation, and I can't agree with all of it but I think you make some very valid and interesting points, especially (in my view) about the band being after something new. I also sensed this in the Bangor show. While everyone else seemed to be dismissing the effort as a warm-up, I was smiling and grooving to a new approach and sound. I loved the Bangor show for that reason and think that this year has the potential to be their best by far since they reunited. Then again, I'm not as smart as the compendium.
