Slothberries This can still be regarded as one of the great jams since the return of Phish in 2009. It was easy to tell when it was happening that it was going to be talked about for years.

frankenfunk I still watch this video weekly at a minimum. Easily one of the best jams of 3.0. Trey displays amazing patience

raidcehlalred Love this song, but like Marley (to a degree) with Reggae: This version 'ruins' other Underminds; it's just that awesome.

turbidite Pure hose from beginning to end. This one never gets old for me.

phearless Ahhhh the good old Dicks Undermind :)

headyburritos The song I listen to the most from Dick's 2012..no Undermind before or since has even come close to this version

This one's no slouch.

The Dicks Undermind is one of the great moments of hose regardless of era. Super unique and super huge. It's the Went Gin of that Dicks Run.

nichobert Also no slouch...

I didn't realize how hard they faked out Scents in this Undermind until right now

nichobert And talk about ruining other versions.

This Curtain With from Camden 2011 knows my soul.

Yakul Spaceman_E might like this more than me. Maybe. It would be hard. Favorite track of 3.0, probably.

WinnipegGroove I love putting on headphones and listening to Dick's Undermind while closing my eyes and imaging myself aboard a vessel traveling through the dimensions of time and space to discover the meaning of the universe and my own existence.

I never quite reach my destination, but that's why I keep listening to it over and over. One day I will get there and when I do, it will be the most glorious of days.

phunky58 Best tour of 3.0 imho (summer 2012). And also this is the best show of 3.0 imo. Gems galore. From beginning to end this show is fantastic. Jams, jams, and more jams. If you haven't heard this show I strongly suggest listening to it from beginning to end. oh and throw the second set of star lake from 2012 in there for good measure ;)

toddvoss A year ago, while grumbling to myself about the scarcity of Round Room and Undermind tunes, I made my own "show" of my favorite versions of my favorite songs for an "all Round Room/Undermind show" (with a Set One and Set Two). This was my Undermind. Actually, its a great show, very patient and "chill" but with some fire in Walls of the Cave and 46 Days.

I have Summer 15 a hair over 12 but both better than fall 13 (not enough shows that fall to compete with these two excellent summers of phish)

kevtree For some reason this jam has always reminded me of the swaying of the oars of the ship in the sky on mario 64. Dunno why. It's relaxing.
, comment by EvilKingWilson9
EvilKingWilson9 This reminds me of how much I miss Kuroda's circle truss set up. Best Undermind IMO- even though the song does represent a bad time in Phish history....

indeed. and trey's soloing -> page gets love here, but your pic of fish is appropriate. his drumming that set was nuts.

speaking of unique: imagine if they played it in 04 - at spac or something.

Thanks for the vid.... Nice.... Love when Trey walks around a bit. Locked.

ajcmixer 8/31 is my birthday and me and my friends were joking before the show that since it was the first time Phish ever played on 8/31 that naturally it would be the best 8/31 show ever. No joke, so far easily the best of the three shows on the date and one of the greats of the 3.0 era. And Undermind is the best of the highlights of a show that had many highlights, it was stupendously slinky, superb and sublime.
, comment by Slothberries
Slothberries Yup. Still awesome
