12/7/92 First Avenue, Minneapolis, MN Opening segment has a lot of noodling and trilling from Trey in the pre-Nirvana..
Nirvana at 2:33. Mike's solo section has Mike teasing the HYHU theme.. The pre-charge is ok, not that stellar.. some Trey slip
ups. "Boy" at 6 mins precisely. Trey actually starts to say "shii.." instead of God and corrects himself.. highly amusing.. ;) Some
strange bass in here from Mike.. this WUDMTF segment ain't normal. The tramps jam has groovy jamming from Page, and
Mike's signals (for tramps movements) sound at times like the first three main notes of "Another Brick in the Wall's" main bass
theme. At 9:30 or so, Trey comes in jamming on the Santana tune "I Ain't Got Nobody, That I can Depend On.." (that tune) It
also at times sounds like Oye Como Va.. a blend of the two! But primarily the "I Ain't Got Nobody.." Santana tune.. everyone
is totally jamming on this theme. It really **SMOKES**, FOLKS. Trey starts soloing Santana-esquely in here. Quite nice..
Fish kinda picks up the beat, too, around 11 minutes. DAMN this is **HOT**. At 12:30, Trey is just wailing away while
everyone else jams on this Santana tune (pretty much Oye Como Va in here, now). Fantastic. Trey is really wigging out!! Bass
and drums at 13:05, and Mike keeps up the Oye Como Va theme, funkily grooving on it, with Fish. Mike isn't THAT active,
though.. nor is Fish. ;( At 14:05, the final WUDMTF segment kicks in. "Don't tell me" in the opening of the vocal jam (that's
what trey appears to be saying.. and then it becomes "Don't tie me, don't tie me down.." "You're break me up, you're gonna tie
me.." "Don't bring me up, you're gonna tie me.."). Then Mike starts DUM-DUMDUM-ing part of a Santana jam from Black
Magic Woman... and then it becomes just a weird vocal jam, with someone making weird WOW noises... they sing "GO" in
unison.. chanting GO.. or GOO.. or something. Nice harmony in here at one point.. very eerie, though. This ending is
harmonized... doesn't sound nearly as nice as Ween 95, though.. ;) Total time 18:49. "Don't go away, we'll be back for another
set." A unusual YEM all around.. loved the Jam segment in particular (I'm a sucker for Santana). A-/B+ rating.
