Oh, were it not for final exams. What a show!!!! Still holds up even
after 1997.

YEM opens quite typically. Very long, enchanting pre-Nirvana section
(but otherwise, nothing too special imo). Nirvana doesn't come until
4:15. Trey flubs a little in here, though. Mike's solo section begins
at 4:58. Very somber. Pre-charge has the typical verve. Trey nails
the first Note at 6:16, and jams around it. Second Note is sustained.

Strangely, after the charge, Trey lets out a hearty scream (7:45ish)
-- but it is a little late. As a result, the audience yells "Boy" but
not Trey. I can only think of one other version in which Trey does
not scream "Boy" (3/28/93). MGS/WUDMTF segment is fine.. Page is
particularly active. Tramps section at 9:43, and it's a good one.
Page gets unusually active on the keys..

Jam segment basically begins modestly around 12:05. Gentle noodling
from Trey (Oye Como Va teasing around 12:35).. very mellow. Mike
steps on that thing that makes that BELL sound. No theme in here..
kinda directionless snorking around, until 13:40 or so, when the jam
begins to pick up in intensity (good stuff from Fish!!).

Nice jamming around 14:30, but Trey hasn't really taken off yet.
Mike, Fish and Page seem more active. Fish actually takes the beat
down for a few measures while Trey plaintively solos..

Around 15:40 the jam finally starts to rip like YEM usually does, with
extremely potent drumming from Fish and power chords from Trey..
great Page and Mike, too (16:30). Great closing jam!! (about time)

B&D at 17:35, basically, when Trey hops onto the minikit. Page hasn't
dropped out, however, and plays some chords throughout this excellent
B&D segment! Very melodious work from Mike in here, and I'd swear
Mike teases that tune "You Got The Look.." Awesome Mike!! Fishman
also really tears it up! (and Page is still dropping chords on
the piano!) Saaaahhhhhhhhweeeeeeeet B&D section!! =^] =^] =^]
Some people in the audience go bananas, too!! Mike and Fish are truly
*RAGING* in here. An exceptional B&D segment for damn sure!!! Trey
bangs his mini kit well throughout it...

Closing WUDMTF lyrics at 21:05. (that's right, a 3 and a half minute
B&D section.. one of the longest on record; see other great B&D
segments: 6/19/95, 6/26/95, 6/29/95, 10/21/95, 11/18/95) "Donuts, I
love Donuts" vocal jam.. Total time 25:59. Very awesome YEM.. good
stuff. B+
